Harder Than Ever !

I would like to turn readers’ attention to foreign countries experience so this article will be about my trip in Switzerland, the most beautiful nature and wonderful weather in spring. It is neither too cold nor too warm that is very pleasant to travel during this period. We have long holidays in April due to Thingyan, Burmese new year festival. The second class in Burma usually enjoy the water festival in the country but the rich can afford to go overseas. Burma had started opened the country since 1990s. At first we were allowed to travel our neighbouring countries such as China, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia were not so popular yet. China, Korea and Japan were difficult to get visa. About 2015, the civilian government took the power and no more sanction from the west, in turn, we had opportunity to travel to European countries and the United States.

I am very lucky

I am very lucky, I could travel many countries as a result of my profession but very difficult and worn out because we can’t afford to hire the local tour guides, they charge at least 20 euro per hour. You can imagine twelve hours per day. Tour company may bankrupt if they use local tour guide. That’s why, I cooperative with bus drivers and travel around european countries. The biggest challenge for me is language. I know a bit of Spanish and Italian but not enough. Sometimes, the drivers are from the east europe such as from Czech republic, Poland or Ukraine, they don’t understand english. I’m sweating in the cold weather.

Finally, everything was under control except robbery and pickpockets. They are too clever and quick, incredible especially in Italy, France and Brussels. Switzerland is better than other countries. There are not only but also robbers in Italy and France. Some clients of mine were bobbed who lost money and passports. The situation is sheer hell at that time. We must go to the police station to inform the robby case , on the other hand a group of another clients, I can’t leave them. I was between the deep sea and the devil.

Italian paradise ” Lake Como ”

We usually use the way from Milan, the commercial centre of Italy to Switzerland by private coach where the landscape is fantastic. It is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Beautiful rocky mountains and forest in Italy. About an hour later, we can view a lake surrounded by Lovely house which is not far away from Italian paradise ” Lake Como ” where the famous people in the world , such as George Clooney, Madonna, Donatella Versace and Sir Richard Branson live. When we drive pass this area, the breathtaking views catch our eyes so that nobody can say a word, you could hear a pin drop.

Very high mountains which are a part of Alp, snow-capped at the top, dark-green pine tree forest from the bottom to the middle of the mountain and the big gorge with blue water is like a beautiful living picture.

Sometimes, the waterfalls are about hundred metres heigh but not small ones. Some clients of mine said that it is worth to spend big amount of money to enjoy this kind view. The roads are very good and systematic but not so wide. We usually drive pass in the tunnels as europeans don’t want to destroy the natural landscape so they build many tunnels pass through the mountains.

Sometimes, beautiful villages beside the lakes and fishing boats in the clear water suddenly appear at the end of tunnel. The sounds burst out “Oh my goddess! “

The green land is just beside the motor way that is like a huge golf course where bulls and cows are eating the grass.

It is very interesting, the fence of cows are made of only one plastic rope and some iron poles but they never go out of the fence because they have ample of foods, not necessary to go away. That’s why, the cows are very discipline. We burmese are not, they crossed over the barriers in the middle of Gabar Aye pagoda road which is a national disgrace.

The swiss houses have two layers of windows and doors as the weather is very cold. The flower vests hang out of the windows that looks very beautiful through the way to Mt.Titlist, famous snow-capped mountain and the most popular tourist attractions.

We take two step of cable car to reach panorama where the tourists take hundred of pictures, shop swiss watch and gifts. At first, we take smaller cable cars it can hold six persons each, next step is much bigger about fifty persons can take it but it turns 360 degree around but slowly so that we can enjoy all overview. I always remember the felling of Switzerland is in my heart forever.
