Main Cabin Crew Seat (Rear)
- The rear cabin crew seat is installed in the entrance area and is a fixed seat.
- It usually folds back of the way when not in use to keep the aisles, workspaces and emergency exits clear.
- It is equipped with shoulder harness and seat belt.
- Stowage under the seat;

Tail Prop
- On ATR 72 only, a tail prop is available and must be installed on the tail skid to avoid a possible pulling-up of the aeroplane during passenger boarding and disembarking.
- The tail prop is a metallic cylinder installed below the tail.
Service Door
- The service door is located at the rear right hand side of the aeroplane and next to the galley.
- It is using for baggage loading and unloading of rear cargo compartment and other catering usage.
- It is an outward and forward opening type door.
Main Passenger Door/ Boarding Door
- The entry door is located at the rear left hand side of the aeroplane.
- The door is an outward type door.
- Attached to the integrated stair structure is a folding handrail.
- On ATR 500/600, a second adjustable handrail erects automatically when the door is opening.
- On ATR 200/300, the adjustable handrail is stowed and attached behind the rear cabin partition wall during flight and has to be fixed to thestairs before embarking or disembarking.
Rear Facing Seats for passengers
- Rear facing seats are located facing with the first row of the passenger seats.
- They are next to the forward right emergency exit.
No-smoking Signs and Fasten Seatbelt Signs
- The signs are in the passenger service unit.
- They are essential for all passengers onboard.
Seat Belts Usage
The seat belts are equipped with all passengersβ seats.
- Passengers must be fastened their seat belts every take-off and landing.
- They have to put the metal ends together until they are in fit position.
- Lift the upper position of the buckle for releasing.
